I am a sports options customer.
They put out a halftime summary of stats for each college and pro game.
I was interested in getting back copies, try and find some 1st Half key indicators if I could.
The 1st Half summary looks like this (college hoops)

About three weeks ago, they sent me an offer of some sort, I donno, 40% reload maybe.
I replied you have closed my account, with $880 still unpaid in it.
So an "Alex" replied, saying they were under new management, and taking "Americans only", and they would pay me in 30 days if I did a 10X on my balance.
So I said OK, nothing but time to lose really. A long shot for sure, first to even make the ten time rollover and secondly that they would pay me then.

I have been betting a few thousand a day there, but been depositing GP and withdrawing Moneybookers.
Apparently this is a violation, it is called a "pass-through". I am going to be charged extra for this.

[ATTACH]17411[/ATTACH]Attached is a do it yourself explanation about how I go about building a database step-by-step. I don't know how to do much more than copy and paste, so it is a pretty simple process, albeit time consuming. I spent about six hours putting this one year together. Would have been closer to four, but I was stupid and discovered I had wrong data 3/4 of the way through, and had to go back to scratch.
Smarter people could do it faster and no doubt better. I am a self taught plodder. :D

Free to anyone who wants to come out. The 3 hour workshop will be held at the Golden Nugget the Friday morning before the [url="http://www.sportsbookreview.com"]SBR[/url] Bash starts.
There is no charge, and I will be leading it.
We are going to cover the basic "how to's" of building a database from scratch.
All participants need to bring a laptop with Microsoft office (Excel and Access) installed, as well as have internet access for scraping data. The hotel sells access for around $12 a day, and air cards work as well.

Well, not for me personally, I have gotten two free plays of $100 each from Bet Phoenix and couldn't be happier.
But I think the are bad because of the changes they cause in the forum. A few thoughts about this, in point form.
1) It creates and encourages ghosting. Ghosting is stupid at the best of times, even more stupid when it is to try and earn 25 cents worth of points a day. It fills the forum with meaningless posts that would not otherwise would have been made, to no ones benefit other than...

Actually, two picks.
And, as is Tank tradition, I am even going to give a (brief) mathematical explanation for each. We like to justify our guesses with numbers in the think tank.
1st--Brownies to score 1st +170 (available most anywhere). Home doggies of +9 or more have historically scored 1st 39% of the time over 158 games I have on db, which would make them around +155 true value. Throw in the weather (hell, anything can happen in a blizzard) and you have what we fondly call an "ev+ bet".
2nd--Clev win first half, Pitt win game at +750 (Jazz group). Over these 158 games with the big home dogs, the dogs have won the first half/lost the game 27 times (17%). So +750 is more than "fair value", which would be closer to +490.
Will either of these picks win? :lock2:

And I filed a SBR complaint form, and Justin7 agrees.
So what to do now? Other than warn other players to stay away, I don't know if I have much recourse.
I made a bet with Ladbrokes (rated A+ by Sportsbook Review) on Oct 20th NFL in the "double result" catagory. I bet $170 at their stated odds of +1400 that
1) Jets would win the first half and
2) Buffalo would win the game.
Jets were a -9.5 favorite.
Ladbrokes put the monies for the winning bet in my account, $2870.
Then a few hours later they took $1360...
