Well, not for me personally, I have gotten two free plays of $100 each from Bet Phoenix and couldn't be happier. But I think the are bad because of the changes they cause in the forum. A few thoughts about this, in point form. 1) It creates and encourages ghosting. Ghosting is stupid at the best of times, even more stupid when it is to try and earn 25 cents worth of points a day. It fills the forum with meaningless posts that would not otherwise would have been made, to no ones benefit other than...

Actually, two picks. And, as is Tank tradition, I am even going to give a (brief) mathematical explanation for each. We like to justify our guesses with numbers in the think tank. 1st--Brownies to score 1st +170 (available most anywhere). Home doggies of +9 or more have historically scored 1st 39% of the time over 158 games I have on db, which would make them around +155 true value. Throw in the weather (hell, anything can happen in a blizzard) and you have what we fondly call an "ev+ bet". 2nd--Clev win first half, Pitt win game at +750 (Jazz group). Over these 158 games with the big home dogs, the dogs have won the first half/lost the game 27 times (17%). So +750 is more than "fair value", which would be closer to +490. Will either of these picks win? :lock2: Probably not. :banghead: My picks mostly suck like everyone else's. :p Have fun, enjoy the game!

And I filed a SBR complaint form, and Justin7 agrees. So what to do now? Other than warn other players to stay away, I don't know if I have much recourse. I made a bet with Ladbrokes (rated A+ by Sportsbook Review) on Oct 20th NFL in the "double result" catagory. I bet $170 at their stated odds of +1400 that 1) Jets would win the first half and 2) Buffalo would win the game. Jets were a -9.5 favorite. Ladbrokes put the monies for the winning bet in my account, $2870. Then a few hours later they took $1360...

I like this bet a bit. The bet I like in it is tied first half/favorite 2nd half. You can get this at around 20-1 most times, I think the true odds in many cases are closer to 15-1. For example, I had a bet the other day that was a case in point, with the database analysis. (it lost, but still)...
Cinn/So Fla double result tie 1st half/Cinn win 2nd half. I know ABC/Jazz group have it at 20-1, I think quite a few other books do to. Thinking behind the play: 1) I have 285 games in the...
I do not think this book has any funds available to pay players. I met my rollover, applied for a moneybookers withdrawal, was told to apply for a check since they did not have moneybookers funded. I have sent them a total of $2600 in four payments over the last six months, never once got a withdrawal, I feel I am entitled to be paid back in moneybookers. But I say "OK, so how soon can I get a check". I am told "in ten to 14 days". WTF? IF you can write a check, you can fund a moneybookers. Both just require one thing. CASH. I do not think they have it. The moneybookers payments go to Pino. I personally think he has a lot more to do with this book than he lets on. He called me up to give me shit last time when I was complaining here about unclear rollover terms, now all of a sudden neither he nor Robert there are answering my e-mails when I inquire about my money. I am owed $4500. Who else is this book giving the run around to and for how much?
